I googled my way to check for the current poll results and I was taken a back when I saw this:

Estrada blooper: He skipped Binay’s name for VP

Real Letters, real mailbox

As I was checking my email, I noticed that I am indeed in touch with my friends and relatives electronically, but the physical touch was missing.  I am a big fan of technology but I think some of us are missing the point of having a real relationship which involves real feelings, not just emoticons. 

I suddenly missed my friends and relatives who are away.

Today,  I posted a status message on my facebook and twitter - that I miss receiving real letters/postcards from a real mailbox and i hope they’d send me one.   Let’s see how many I get, I will surely blog about it.

If you guys wanna send me too, lemme know so I can give you my address. I ask my friends to give me their mailing address too so I can write to them as well… I want to feel that excitement again, when you cant wait to see who the letter came from and what it says!! **of course I won’t just give away my address if i dont know you..teehee**

Bagnet Craze (Bagnet 8065 Makati)

     “Bagnet” - a local dish for the Ilocanos, and a treat for everyone else! It is also knows as chicharon or deep-fried pork. If you love lechon kawali, you will definitely fancy this dish.

 Bagnet 8065 is a hole in the wall restaurant in the outskirts of Makati (Estrella St, near Pasong Tamo). They serve fabuous dishes which made us eat there 3 times last week. *heart attack please don’t come*

 They serve bagnet in different variants which makes the menu far from being boring. I never thought that Kare Kare Bagnet could ever exist. And the way they serve the Kare Kare bagnet wasn’t sloppy at all. They still fry the bagnet to perfection, and top it over the bed of Kare Kare sauce and Veggies. Their bagoong was so good too, not oily nor pungent. And when dining, always opt for the Bagoong Rice and additional side dish of talong served with mangoes, tomates and onions.

Additional tidbit about the place, it’s owned by the brother of Kitchie Nadal. Hence, you will see some of her awards on display. The restaurant has this rustic and vintage feel.

Directions: From Pasong Tamo, cross Buendia, after about 3 or 4 corners, you should see Estrella street on your left. There would be a sign for a car shop (Autoline), turn left and go straight ahead. After a few streets, you should see the restaurant on your left. Goodluck!

Do you Tweet?

DO you have an account in twitter? Do you actually use it to kill boredom, to promote items you sell, to earn thru ads, or to stalk? =) I just signed up a couple of days ago and it still amazes me.. Not sure how long i’ll keep it. I was on plurk for some time too, but got too tired updating people what I was up to.

People nowadays are so fond of social networking sites that some would just prefer to stay home and surf the net all day. My take on it? The more people doing this, the more people we have gaining weight due to lack of physical activity.  But the hell, if you do this to keep in touch with relatives and friends, or even earn a living, then that should be fine. However, one should still ensure that exerice and a healthy diet is kept. Ooopss.. I don’t think Im practicing that part. hehehe

You need to wash your make up brushes

You just dont know I blog

 Each time I eat out, do something new or what have you’s, I always bring my SLR camera, and if I dont have it with me, I will definitely use my iphone to take pictures. I am just sad that sometimes, people would give you a bad @ss stare trying to tell you how weird or obnoxious you are taking pictures of your plate, what you are doing, etc. I am sometimes offended, but I tell myself not to care - they just don’t know I was gonna blog about it or put it on my facebook. Maybe they don’t have a place to put their pictures and share their fun, or they just don’t have enough guts to actually put out a camera and take snappies. For all i know, they’re envious that i caught my fun on cam and i am able to save those memories for years
